MullanGrid engineers have experience of completing due diligence on the grid connection of over 1000MW of renewable generation for equity, debt and bank investors.

MullanGrid bring the ‘local’ knowledge on connection, constraint and curtailment issues. Having worked on the majority of transmission nodes being considered for generation in Ireland and Northern Ireland MullanGrid has the important background knowledge on potential grid issues. MullanGrid’s engineers have also been at the forefront of the development of grid policy over the past 10 years including the gate process, clustering, contestability, constraint and curtailment.

MullanGrid has also advised Vendors during the due diligence process on over 1000MW of generation. This includes preparing connection, ongoing losses and costs, constraint and curtailment reports to be included in the data-room.
